How it all started
My love for the sport started when I ran but it didn’t truly begin until I became a coach at a local middle school here in town. Being able to create those connections with the student athletes and the community made me love the sport of running a great deal.
My story
I spent the last five years working for one of the biggest media companies in the nation, Texas MileSplit. I feel very fortunate to have worked for such a great company that helped me develop some incredible skills when it comes to sports media coverage. Now I find myself in an exciting new venture to continue a tradition in the Sun City of El Paso to bring coverage to these young and talented athletes.
My approach
I hope to bring a personal, humble and gentle approach in my style of covering running here in El Paso. My goal is to always have my work feel comfortable, fun and always feel safe for those that I interview.
